Minimum 1-2+ years office experience in accounting;
Excellent proficiency in Quickbooks;
Fluency in Mandarin an asset but not required;
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook;
A passion for organization and efficient processes (Can you make it better? Please do!);
Self-motivated, efficient and results-oriented;
Positive attitude; ready to assist on a wide range of tasks, whatever needs to be done - a can-do/get-'er-done mindset!
Ability to take initiative/independently problem-solve;
Must be very comfortable with computers;
Previous office experience in an engineering, architectural or similar firm an asset but not required.
Internal Bookkeeping tasks (payroll, Prepare CRA remittances, GST returns, WCB and other filings, accounts receivable & payable, assist with fee estimates, do bank deposits);
General office admin tasks (Get mail, order supplies, prepare boardroom/office/washroom before client meetings, fill-out/proof-read/photocopy and file various forms, Liaison with tech support, office maintenance vendors);

AMA is an ambitious and experimental design-centered practice with a fast-growing portfolio of innovative projects ranging in scale from light fixtures to high-rise towers.Our boutique design studio of 20 allow team members to work on a variety of project-typologies. Current typologies include single-family, large-scale office/hotels, multi-family – mid and high-rise, resort, and an entertainment arena complex.
We are currently seeking to fill full-time positions at the intermediate level. Candidates must have an undergraduate or graduate level degree in architecture from an accredited university.
Project design, design development and documentation for the purposes of obtaining development and building permits;
Preparing drawings for tender, drawing detailing, construction documentation through to issued for construction documents;
Minimum 3-8+ years of relevant experience;
Excellence in design and detail development;
Eye for precision and accuracy;
Excellent ability to develop design concepts from sketches/direction;
Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD) preferred but not required;
Proficiency in Revit preferred but not required;
Proficiency in Rhino preferred but not required;
